I am not the cleanest person in the world. In fact, I am probably closer to the bottom of the "clean people" list - if there was such a thing. I dont mind dirty clothes on the floor, my makeup all over the bathroom and dishes left in the sink. I can still manage life with those things in my way. I tend to get to them on my own time.
Recently I have noticed a few "quirks" I have when it comes to when I actually clean my house. Little routines I have or certain methods for getting things done and organized in my home.
First, my bed is always made before I clean anything in my bedroom. It doesnt matter if I am going to bed in a half hour, those pillows and stuffys are in place. I like to have them all hugging one another like they are friends. We have five on our bed. A monkey Jon has had since he was a baby, a little white bear he got from a friend a few years ago, my happyface with nubby arms and feet from my mom on my 13th birthday, my little grey bunny my God Father bought me when I was seven, and finally a little Telus frog Jon got from aa recent Canucks game.
Plus, I like my bed made before I throw all of my clean laundry on it that I have to fold and put away.
I clean my shower while I have a shower. Seems easiest that way.
I have one dish rag just for dishes and another rag just for the counters. The brown and red rags are for the counters and the blue and black rags are for the dishes. Make sense?
Typically I dont ever finish a job I start. I get distracted very easily. For example, when I clean my computer room I like to look at Jons baby book or my box filled with shool memories. I look for 10 minutes or so, then I get back to cleaning for a while until I get distracted by next thing and so on. My brain can only take so much dusting anc vaccuming for so long.
My towls are always folded the same way and are never shoved on a shelf but my shirt drawer is a hot mess and I dont iron anything.
Anyways, I just found it interesting that I am not a neat person but I have my "particular" ways.
Do you have any?

Leonard: I don't want tea.
Sheldon: I didn't make tea for you. This is my tea.
Leonard: Then why are you telling me?
Sheldon: It's a conversation starter.
Leonard: That's a lousy conversation starter.
Sheldon: Oh, is it? We're conversing. Checkmate.

Random things I love
I figured for my first blog post I would start off with some things that I enjoy. Stuff besides Jesus and my Husband. Here we go!
1) I love the smell of fresh bread, clean laundry, and good old grungy gas station. I love when I am pumping gas I and get a great big waft of gasoline. Sometimes I feel a little strange taking a big sniff while I am pumping gas, but I am learning how to do it a little more descreatly.
2)My friend named "Friend." (Photo above) I think her parents call her Alyssa. If you are ever looking to entertained on a breezy afternoon (or late at night) just put the two of us in a room together and observe. To heighten the level of laughter and giggles, add such things as ipod apps, food (especially chocolate and coffee), Canucks, Zachary Levi, and perhaps some of the youth girls we hang out with. We waited in line for over 6 hours to get onto the Zipline down town. Because I waited with her, it was a jolly good time. She never fails to entertain me with a random text.
3)Reading blogs. I have right now that I get excited when they put something new up.
First is Jamie Delaine. Reading her post feels like I am sitting at the table with her, enjoying some tea while she is telling me a story. I find she is fun, honest, intelligent, and super driven. Did I mention her gorgeous photos? Check em out.

Second (not second and in second place. Second as in mentioned second.) is Promise Tangeman. She is funky, fresh, and dresses in whatever she finds for a good deal and likes. I would call her a scatter brain of creativity. She can design logos, create beautiful things out of thrift store finds, take fantastic photos, and many more things. I have had a lot of fun poking around her blog.

And now to end.
